infact, it’s way cheaper , we freely able to drive around JB to have meals and the sinfully sought after nan cheese kaya Jalal !

tetaplah in return of the cheaper option, something’s gotta go kan tema nya. adalah bahana nya kerna really even before the sun ‘s out, we had to get up , get ready and head down to the immigration , get stucked in traffic jam for an hour or so SEBELUM nak sampai singapore. lucky us, we were fetched by sang KB’s partner , cik N who was the driver of the day.
nothing much i could complaint cause i was sitting comfortably at the backseat , phew
but all, soon as we get passed the singapore immigration, the traffic was very smooth. therefore, if you are thinking to do some shoppings or sight-seeing or USSing in Singapore during the weekend, rise before the sun is up, you would be lucky enough to avoid the usual heavy traffic at the immi.
oh and one piece of important advice for Muslim travelers t, upon recommendation of sang driver ie partner sang KB ( i cant emphasis enough ;P), look out for BANQUET to have your meals cause it offers HALAL variety of food. so you should not worry so much !
make sure your stomach is full before you go round the town since it’s difficult to locate HALAL food , well unless the HALAL cert is put up or you are near the Malay Muslims area that is.
there is one thing worth highlighting here . although i have to remind, i mean no harm but simply stating the facts so i’m very cautious as to my selection of words
while i had rather alright treatment from the singaporeans , well im speaking on my 1-day trip of course with less contact with their citizens, i have heard some fair share stories how some of my friends were treated quite unreasonably during their trip. when i heard their unpleasant stories i count my blessings for i had not meet undesirable treatments as some of them did.
oh well, no matter how offensive they were treated i’m well aware we should not generalise and quick to make judgment about every single singaporeans
but yeah, a lesson to be learned is that,perhaps what is lacking with SOME singaporeans was they could be downright rude and stuck-up, though i would rather see the glass half full , yknow?
i hope we Malaysians would not have to adopt the similar approach some singaporeans took on their daily encounters towards Malaysians . Instead lets keep checking on our manners and maintain general civility.
